Renowned for his work within many Opera's, Britten was one of the greatest composers of the 20th century. Working alongside his muse, 'Peter Pears' he was highly encouraged to follow his talents and progress within his musical household.

In the early stages of Britten's career, he enjoyed great success through some of his most early publications.
Britten was one of the first musicians to receive a life peerage which was done in 1976, this then titles him 'Lord Britten'.

The soul purpose of the Young Artist programmes was to allow those who has a keen interest in music as a hobby to make it their professionalism. The programme would help those who were talented to progress further and allow them to develop so that their performances can improve.<

Britten Pears was established in order to promote the legacy in music that is Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears. One of the greatest composers of the 20th century that will never be forgot by many.

The programmes was created in honour of 'Lord Britten' who was one of the greatest composers of his time. Here as some of his most features works;
